Hi, I’m Rae.

Yoga teacher, mindfulness coach, cosmic daydreamer, coffee enthusiast, and the heart behind YogaCoffeeMagic.

My yoga journey actually began all the way back in 2006 when I was still in high school. I had recently stepped away from cheerleading and found myself searching for something that could recreate that same feeling of movement, flow, expression, and connection within my body.

So naturally… I turned to Ask Jeeves.

After countless random searches and hours spent printing yoga poses off library computers, I started teaching myself yoga alone in my bedroom, one pose at a time. Long before fancy apps, studio memberships, or online classes became easily accessible, yoga quietly became my safe space.

As I got older, I discovered online videos and apps that helped guide my practice until I was finally able to step into my very first yoga studio. The moment I did, something clicked deep inside me. I knew this path was going to become part of my life in a much bigger way.

For the next 10 years, I remained a dedicated student of yoga before finally beginning my yoga teacher training journey in 2020.

For me, yoga was never just about movement.

Yoga became part of my healing.

It helped me navigate anxiety, depression, stress, and the overwhelming noise that life can sometimes create inside the mind. Around the same time I started therapy, I made a promise to myself: every single day, I would choose three simple things that brought me joy and trust that the rest would slowly begin to fall into place.

That became:
a little yoga,
a little coffee,
and a little magic.

And “magic” could mean anything that lit up my soul that day.

Maybe it was music blasting through the kitchen while dancing barefoot.
Maybe it was coloring, painting, journaling, sunsets, Play-Doh, laughter, deep conversations, or simply learning how to slow down long enough to feel present again.

That philosophy became the foundation of YogaCoffeeMagic.

Today, I blend yoga, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, creativity, neuroplasticity, music, meditation, and authentic human connection into every class and experience I create.

Some classes are grounding and restorative.
Some feel like a cosmic rave under blacklights and lasers.
Some are emotional.
Some are playful.
Some are simply about breathing deeply and remembering you’re allowed to exist without constantly performing or proving yourself.

No matter the format, my goal is always the same:
to help people reconnect to themselves.

To help people soften.
To help people heal.
To help people remember joy.

Whether you’re joining me online from your living room, flowing beside me at the beach, moving through a heated vinyasa class, or simply listening to a guided meditation with your morning coffee — you are welcome here exactly as you are.

This space was created for the overthinkers, the feelers, the healers, the dreamers, the beautifully human people trying to navigate life one breath at a time.
